3rd Successful State Pickleball Tournament

Tamilnadu Pickleball Association (TNPA) affiliated to the Indian Pickleball Association (IPA) organized the 3rd state level pickleball tournament in the city on 27th February 2022. This was the first ever outdoor tournament in 8 courts, and participation for U12, U14, U19, Open, and 40+ categories with Singles, Doubles and Mixed Doubles events being conducted. The event was full of excitement, encouragement, compassion, and an absolute camaraderie in players participating in various categories. The young talents from Kanchipuram bagged: 7 gold medals, 9 silver medals and 6 bronze medals, while players from Chennai grabbed 15 gold medals, 13 silver medals and 15 bronze medals.
Winners are Venkatesh N, Sunnidhi Jain, Saravanan C, Vivek V, Petulia B, Jose T, Royston R, Prabhuraj, Keerthan, Pavendhan, Siddharth, Sana M, Nikhil S.
It's fantastic to see the TamilNadu Pickleball Association successfully expanding the sport with their 3rd state tournament, especially with the wide range of age groups and the move to eight outdoor courts! Congratulations to the winners and all the young talent from Kanchipuram and Chennai!
